Description

Introducing the Iqon CL15 Black Edition Inline Skates, a sophisticated and robust addition to the urban skating landscape. Designed around the popular 165mm mounting standard, the CL15 Black Edition combines sleek aesthetics with high-performance features, making it the ideal choice for skaters who seek both style and substance in their urban adventures.

Sophisticated Design and Adjustable Fit
The CL15 Black Edition boasts a new, wide-fit, double-sized hard boot that ensures both durability and comfort. This advanced boot is paired with a height-adjustable cuff, allowing skaters to customize the level of support to match their unique skating style and personal preferences. The ratchet 45-degree strap, along with the Myfit 2nd Skin liner, ensures a snug, secure, and comfortable fit that conforms to the shape of your foot.

Durable and Functional Construction
Engineered to withstand the demands of urban skating, the CL15 Black Edition features a hard boot with an integrated side protector/slider for added durability. The skate is equipped with lightweight and precise Iqon Decode SE frames, featuring a 1mm rockering for the middle wheels in a 4x90mm setup or a flat 3x110mm configuration. This design enhances agility and control, making it ideal for navigating urban environments and performing complex maneuvers.

High-Performance Wheels and Bearings
The CL15 rides on Iqon Access Natural 90mm/85A wheels, renowned for their excellent grip and smooth ride. Paired with Wicked ABEC 9 bearings, these wheels ensure a responsive and fast skating experience. Whether you're weaving through crowded streets or enjoying a leisurely skate, these components provide the performance and reliability you need.

Sizing and Fit Recommendations
The CL15 Black Edition is available in sizes 36-46, catering to a wide range of foot sizes. Please note that size 38-39 skates may not always perfectly fit size 39 due to variations in foot. For a more accurate fit, we recommend trying the larger size 40-41. We suggest to take a look at the size chart MONDO which represents length in mm, but if you have any questions or need assistance with sizing, our customer service team is ready to help.

Find your size

How to find your correct inline skate / rollerblade size?

For the best performance, inline skates should have a snug fit. It's not necessary to buy inline skates one size larger than your actual foot size; as they break in, all inline skates will expand and widen over time. Please note that everyone has their own measure of comfort, thus please make your final decision also considering your past experience with shoes you are wearing on daily basis. It's important to know that soft boots will expand more than hybrid (Swell etc.) or carbon boots. While we would never recommend any free space and feet movement in soft boot skates, then hardboot skates actually allow more space and comfort level given the improved support of the skate shell.

3 easy steps to measure your feet:

1. Place and fix an A4 sheet flush against a straight wall. Wear your usual skating socks for more accurancy and place your foot on the sheet, with your heel touching the wall, make sure your heel touches the wall without any pressure.

2. Stand relaxed upon the foot you are measuring. Then, draw a line at your big toe and when marking make sure to hold the pencil vertically to prevent any deviation. It's easiest to ask a friend to draw the line for more precision. Measure the length of the paper to the line: that's your mondopoint size. TIP: For the best fit, measure your foot after a short skating session or at the end of the day.

3. Do the same for the other foot and compare measurements. The correct size that you should end up with is the length of your longer foot. Now with those measurements, you can take the correct size from our size charts.

Triskates or 3 wheel skates

Imagem

+ Less vibration and more speed. Three bigger wheels roll better on uneven and bumpy surfaces. They have less risk to stop on small stones. You can skate faster with three bigger wheels! Sure, speed won't instantly increase, but you can accelerate to faster speed and keep up the pace easier with bigger wheels.

+ Easier turns and better control. Three wheel skates or Triskates middle wheel act as pivot point for easier turns. On four wheel skates this pivot point is distributed within both middle wheels, thus difference in turning ability is quite significant. Making turns does not necessarily mean turning in crossroads, in fact each stride consist of turning/pivoting your skate in right direction from inside out.

+ Less parts and cost effective. Not everyone thinks about skate maintenance when buying new skates. Changing wheels or buying new bearings is unavoidable if you are skating regularly. Keep in mind - less wheels/bearings result in less $pending!

+ Less weight. Three same size wheels weigh less than four- easy as that! Every wheel contains two bearings and wheel is fixed with steel axle. These are main parts that weigh the most on your skates, thus 3 wheel skates are just lighter.

- Higher from the ground. As one of the most advanced brands Powerslide tends to make their skates with lowest center of gravity possible. All skate manufacturers give preference to THREE BIGGER wheel advantages, instead of resigning with three small wheels. For instance, adult fitness skates feature 90mm smallest size on three wheel skates all the way up to 125mm. Sure, most likely skates with 90mm wheels will stand little higher from the ground than four 80 or 84mm.

 Conclusion. You get more with less! With 3 wheel skates you don't have to be afraid choosing skates with bigger size wheels. Beginner will easily handle up to 110mm three wheel skates. For those who are not so sure about their stability on inline skates, we recommend choosing 80-84mm four wheel setup or up to 90mm three wheel setup. By choosing any wheel combination inline skates with plastic hardboot design, stability and control over skates increase and you can go with even bigger wheels.

MYFIT liners

ImagemAt MYFIT we are experts in skate parts that improve your fit enhancing your skate performance, but liners are one of these parts that we excel at it. Often overlooked, liners can provide superior qualities to your skate, they can improve the fit, increase responsiveness, add more support, and of course, make you skate more comfortable.

HEAT MOLDING technology. Heat up boots and adjust them! MYFIT logo on your skates means you can heat mold them and shape to foot. How can I heat mold them?

  1. Pre-heat electric oven to 80°C;
  2. Remove liners and insoles from skates;
  3. Carefully put both liners (without insoles) in the oven and heat them for 10 minutes (make sure they do not fall on sides or touch oven heating elements);
  4. Remove liners from the oven (use gloves), insert insoles, put back in the skates and tighten skates on your feet as usual;
  5. Let them cool while standing in the skating position (knees little bent leaning towards toes);
  6. When liners are cooled off, skates are ready to use;
  7. Process can be repeated as many times necessary to achieve desired result.

In the process of heating special thermo forming liner materials become soft and puffy. When cooling they stay firm and copy shape of your foot. This is done to achieve maximum comfort, relieve possible pressure points and maximize overall performance. Is heat molding MYFIT liners mandatory? Not at all, because most skaters find them comfortable right out of the box. Also, while skating, they adapt to your feet from natural body temperature!

ImagemDUAL FIT technology. Liner that stretches and fits two sizes of feet. The shells of hardboot skates will always cover two sizes no matter which brand you take. So why not use a liner which sufficiently covers two sizes, instead of two single size liners where the smaller size liner comes with thicker padding to fit up the shell? The toe part of a Dual Fit liner is made of 4-way stretchable SBR material which expands and provides a snug comfortable fit and enhances performance. This allowing us to cater to for sizes with a single liner.
ImagemMYFIT RECALL MEMORY FIT. Padding made of super comfortable memory foam. Made of a combination of high-quality memory foams, MYFIT Recall Memory Fit liners wraps around your foot comfortably like a sock and provides exceptional lateral support in the ankle area. The memory foam adjusts in seconds to the shape of your foot due to your body heat and this function will work every time you put your feet in your skate.
Imagem3D ANATOMICAL PADDING. 3D shaped ankle padding for fit and comfort. Anatomically shaped and positioned foam padding for more comfort and better performance. The special embossed foam layers adapt perfectly to the skater´s foot and guarantee a comfortable fit and optimized heel lock for better overall performance. It is pre-shaped to fit asymmetrical ankle positions, provides extra heel look, and has smooth and thin edges to avoid pressure points. One-piece embossed padding to fit all skates.
