Description

The MYFIT 2nd Skin Pro Lomax liner is perfectly shaped for boots with narrower shells that leave less room for padding. Nick's new liner with added details stands out with its new colorway making your skates look brand new. It´s also a great choice for skaters with wider feet who'd like to use a normal shell without any pressure points or pain. This liner is also a great way to downsize the shell size of your skates. All the MYFIT liners feel great from the very first moment you put them on thanks to our 3D anatomically shaped padding made out of a combination of various layers of high-end foam materials with different thicknesses and densities, offering the same great comfort and performance day after day. The toe box features a stretchable SBR material that covers two sizes. The tongue of the liner is made of pre-shaped and molded EVA foam. The liner provides full control, a super snug fit, and great comfort. The heel area is fully heated moldable and allows you to customize the fit again and again. The 2nd Skin liner includes the “custom heel fit”, a molded EVA foam to optimize heel lock. The lacing on the 2nd Skin liner adds extra stability and fixation for maximum control and performance. The lace loops on the liner give two options – to lace just the liner or to connect the shell and liner to further improve the heel lock.

Often overlooked, liners can provide superior qualities to your skate, they can improve the fit, increase responsiveness, add more support, and of course, make you skate more comfortable.

HEAT MOLDING technology. Heat up boots and adjust them! MYFIT logo on your skates means you can heat mold them and shape to foot. How can I heat mold them?

  1. Pre-heat electric oven to 80°C;
  2. Remove liners and insoles from skates;
  3. Carefully put both liners (without insoles) in the oven and heat them for 10 minutes (make sure they do not fall on sides or touch oven heating elements);
  4. Remove liners from the oven (use gloves), insert insoles, put back in the skates and tighten skates on your feet as usual;
  5. Let them cool while standing in the skating position (knees little bent leaning towards toes);
  6. When liners are cooled off, skates are ready to use;
  7. Process can be repeated as many times necessary to achieve desired result.

In the process of heating special thermo forming liner materials become soft and puffy. When cooling they stay firm and copy shape of your foot. This is done to achieve maximum comfort, relieve possible pressure points and maximize overall performance. Is heat molding MYFIT liners mandatory? Not at all, because most skaters find them comfortable right out of the box. Also, while skating, they adapt to your feet from natural body temperature!

ImagemDUAL FIT technology. Liner that stretches and fits two sizes of feet. The shells of hardboot skates will always cover two sizes no matter which brand you take. So why not use a liner which sufficiently covers two sizes, instead of two single size liners where the smaller size liner comes with thicker padding to fit up the shell? The toe part of a Dual Fit liner is made of 4-way stretchable SBR material which expands and provides a snug comfortable fit and enhances performance. This allowing us to cater to for sizes with a single liner.
