Powerslide 3X adjustable Evo lavender is the perfect speed skate for children with growing feet. They are fast, stable and will last for years. These boots of the children's speed skates are slightly higher compared to the adult's to help with stability. The shell material of these kids speed skates is a special fibreglass reinforced plastic. It is more comfortable and forgiving on the child's feet, so that rollerblading is more fun and less painful with overly hard speed skates (as can happen with carbon or pure fibreglass composite shell). Powerslide has been using this material for decades also in the entry level adult speed skates - Powerslide R2 and R4. The thing to understand is that a kids overall weight is significantly less than any adult's weight, so kids skates does not need materials that are too stiff!
The Powerslide 3X adjustable Evo speed skates can be easily adjusted to size with your child's growing foot, so you can be sure they'll last for several skating seasons. They feature lightweight, high-precision Powerslide Core performance aluminium frames that can be set up with 4x84mm/90mm or 3x90mm/100mm wheels depending on skate boot size and personal preference. This will allow you to choose between the higher top speed of three larger wheels or the stability and faster acceleration of a smaller four wheel combination.
These kids' speed skates are one of the best choices if you want to achieve better results. Lightweight speed skates with a low skate boot allow you to skate more efficiently and master your skating technique.
How to find your correct inline skate / rollerblade size?
For the best performance, inline skates should have a snug fit. It's not necessary to buy inline skates one size larger than your actual foot size; as they break in, all inline skates will expand and widen over time. Please note that everyone has their own measure of comfort, thus please make your final decision also considering your past experience with shoes you are wearing on daily basis. It's important to know that soft boots will expand more than hybrid (Swell etc.) or carbon boots. While we would never recommend any free space and feet movement in soft boot skates, then hardboot skates actually allow more space and comfort level given the improved support of the skate shell.
3 easy steps to measure your feet:
1. Place and fix an A4 sheet flush against a straight wall. Wear your usual skating socks for more accurancy and place your foot on the sheet, with your heel touching the wall, make sure your heel touches the wall without any pressure. | 2. Stand relaxed upon the foot you are measuring. Then, draw a line at your big toe and when marking make sure to hold the pencil vertically to prevent any deviation. It's easiest to ask a friend to draw the line for more precision. Measure the length of the paper to the line: that's your mondopoint size. TIP: For the best fit, measure your foot after a short skating session or at the end of the day. | 3. Do the same for the other foot and compare measurements. The correct size that you should end up with is the length of your longer foot. Now with those measurements, you can take the correct size from our size charts. |
