The Zoo York makes skateboard since 1993 and meanwhile, it got a pretty nice reputation among skaters. The decks were strongly influenced by the underground culture of New York; the graffitis, the hip-hop and punk. It turns head around, not just with the tremendous design but with the obvious quality as well. The size can be very different with each piece, go ahead and look around - but be warned, it is not easy to choose.

Does the length of the skateboard matter?
The length of the skateboard also plays an important role. The length of a skateboard is usually in balance with its width. The wider the skateboard, the longer it usually is. Shorter skateboards are easier to turn/steer (especially for children), while longer skateboards give more stability. However, the width of the skateboard is the most important factor to look out for, as in the skateboarding world it is the measure that best describes the final choice.
